With the Reflective Plate method of creating number plates and signs the system prints onto clear, premium film that then gets rolled onto an ABS (Acrylic) reflective vinyl coated back plate
The adhesive is applied to the back plate
This method is the best method to create plates as it's proven to last longer and give the best quality results, all of our signs created using our Tennants Signs software are created using this method
Our XL system uses this method
With the Clear Plate method of creating number plates the system prints onto reflective film that then gets rolled onto a clear acrylic front plate
The adhesive is applied to the clear front plate
This method is classed as the old fashioned method but a lot of people that have been in the business a long time prefer it. the quality of the plates is not quite as good as reflective is harder to print onto
With the Three Part method of creating number plates the system prints onto clear, premium film that then gets rolled in between an ABS (Acrylic) reflective vinyl coated back plate and a clear acrylic front plate
The adhesive is applied to both the clear front and reflective back plate
This method produces the best quality of plates however it costs considerably more due to the extra plate needed

Our premium Jig and Roller will help the user to create plates in the best possible format, as quickly as possible. When practiced a user can create a plate in as little as 2 minutes from start to finish.

*The price of a plate is considered the price of one piece of clear/reflective film and one clear/reflective plate (depending on how you create them). plate prices do not include the cost of the toner used, this is between £0.05 and £0.25 of toner per plate made depending on the system that you have purchased.
