Replace 9541 Toners
This knowledge base article shows you how to Replace 9541 Toners, including the white or clear spot colours. Ensure any replacements are genuine OKI cartridges for plate quality and legality reasons. Instructions that follow assume you are directly facing the front of the machine.
Your Pro Series 9541 printer will let you know when it is time to replace a toner cartridge. First you’ll see warning messages on the display screen found on the control panel, warning a particular toner is getting low. This is when you need to order a replacement if you don’t have any. The message will change and prompt you to replace it once the cartridge is empty, it may even stop printing.
Open Toner Cover
Find the toners under the top cover
First open the top cover on the front of the printer, to access all the installed toner cartridges. Just lift the grip notch located on the right hand side, the cover will simply hinge up.
Remove Empty Cartridge

Identify the empty toner cartridge by matching the printer alert to its coloured end or label (K,C,M,Y). To remove an empty cartridge, simply pull it using the protruding handle, towards you out the machine and place it aside. There are no catches or levers to worry about.
Prepare New Cartridge
Remove all the packaging and shake the cartridge gently
Unpack the replacement toner cartridge from the box and packaging. Shake it several times both vertically and horizontally to loosen the contents.
Install Toner Cartridge
Simply slide the cartridge in until it clicks
Position the new toner cartridge at the empty slot on the printer. Then carefully push it all the way in, as far as it will go. Now close the top toner cover, the printer should detect and then calibrate the new cartridge for use.

Please recycle empty toners
Please remember to recycle your empty toner cartridges and used drum units. And remember we recommend cleaning the led heads regularly, while changing toners or before a production run.
