Sending Zero Waste to Landfill is an ambitious goal and one we’re proud to say we have hit. Not a bad announcement for the eve of Global Recycling Day, if we say so ourselves.
Tennants UK is excited to share that we have achieved our Zero Waste to Landfill goal! That’s right, we’re sending absolutely nothing to landfill. Nada, zilch, zero, nowt, nix or not a dicky bird.
Yet Another Step
How did we do it? We’ve teamed up with approved sources to recycle all of our cardboard, plastics, plastic production waste, and metal production waste. And our general non processable waste? That’s being used to create energy. It’s a win-win! But that’s not all. We’re also investigating renewable energy sources, reducing water usage, and implementing sustainable transportation practices. We’re on a mission to reduce our environmental impact while still providing excellent services and great prices for our customers.
