If you have an on-site production system that syncs with Central, one of the first things you need to do is set-up & Edit your Dashboard. The Dashboard allows users & managers to gain an oversight of their number plate supply using widgets & charts. Its graphs & charts are populated using a locations print & software data. The more data you sync to Central, the more the charts will populate & become useful.
Edit Your Dashboard
Each user picks which widgets and chart to show or hide on their Dashboard. A link to the settings page can be found under Dashboard on the left-side navigation. To customise it for on-site printing, stick to showing the production, security & wastage widgets.
To edit your dashboard scroll down the page & pick what to display, based on the type of data you want to know. To pick or hide a widget, select or tick the top-right checkbox as shown on the clip or the image below. When ready, click the Save Changes Button at the bottom.

Select the widgets you want to display by selecting checkbox’s shown in the image below, then save your changes. Navigate to the Dashboard page to see it updated.
Dashboard Sections
To help you choose which widget to choose, here is a quick breakdown of the sections & widgets. Since this section is for on-site Printed Production we will miss-out the Purchasing or Made-Up Plates widgets.
This Dashboard is split into 3 sections, Production, Security & Waste. These sections contain printed number plate widgets and cover on-site production. After those sections is the Save Dashboard Changes button, which needs clicking so Central can store your changes.
Production
The second Dashboard section holds the production widgets for on-site Number Plate Printing systems. Printed production is covered with 3 Summaries and 5 Reports that are produced using a merchants print & records data synced to Tennants Central.
These widgets provide a quick audit of your number plate supply & performance across all branches.
After the Production section, you will find the Security & Waste report widgets for on-site printing systems.
Security
Security’s Last Sync widget shows all merchant locations sync frequency, highlighting whether records are being backed-up online. The linked report provides detail on Licence keys & sync activity. The DVLA Reg Check widget provides an instant view of all your branches printed Registration legality using LG Plates validation API.
Waste
The wastage widget shows a Reprint Summary for all merchant locations. This chart shows potentially costly reprints by display registrations that were printed 3 or more times.
Save Dashboard
To Edit your Dashboard make your way down the sections covered, ticking or unticking the widgets & charts you want to display. So Central can store your settings, click the Save Dashboard Changes button to lock in your changes.
To view the updated Dashboard use the main left-hand menu.
