Accounts Assistant Apprentice

Location: New Basford, Nottingham, NG7 7JN – Office Based
Hours: Full Time, Mon-Fri 40hrs per week
Salary: £15,600
Training: AAT Level 3 Diploma in Accounting

Ready to launch your career in finance? Based in Nottingham, Tennants UK manufacture and distribute automotive & traffic management products and are looking for an apprentice who is enthusiastic and keen to join. Study for your Level 3 AAT qualification with EMA and complete duties supporting the finance team.

This vacancy is an excellent opportunity to learn and develop with a supportive team to guide you through your studies whilst working closely with your manager who will mentor you with the aim to progress within our company.

Duties:

• Assist in processing purchase & sales invoices as well as payments.
• Accurately maintain confidential company information and records.
• Liaise with other departments to ensure efficient operations.
• Support in credit control and setting up credit insurance.
• Support in petty cash and banking operations.
• Support with daily bank & credit card reconciliations.
• Help to keep accurate stock movements, stocktake and valuations.
• Support in making the weekly payroll.
• Support in providing accurate information for product costs and pricing.
• Process transactions on Sage 200, Excel and internal CRM systems.
• Provide support to other members of the team including Finance Director.
• Administration duties required by the department & any other ad hoc duties.

Salary, Hours & Location

This position is offered on a full-time basis between 8.30am – 5.00pm Monday to Friday on a Full-Time basis. Annual starting wage is £15,600 and you will be working out of our Head Offices at 77 Duke Street, New Basford, Nottingham, NG77JN.

Training

The Level 3 Assistant Accountant Apprenticeship Standard includes 6 AAT exams, in addition to the Synoptic Assessment as part of the End-Point Assessment (EPA) process. You will receive an AAT Level 3 Diploma in Accounting upon successful completion. The knowledge units will be delivered at the EMA training hub in Nottingham (depending on apprentices’ location) through day release.

Senior Marketing Executive

Location: New Basford, Nottingham, NG77JN
Hours: 40hrs per week Mon-Fri 8.30–5.00
Salary: CE £30,000
Reporting To: Business Development Manager

We are looking for a Senior Marketing Executive to support our marketing activities. You will be contributing and organising campaigns, including responsibility for all digital images/photography/videos, content writing and ownership of all social media platforms. Activity will span across our threes divisions and you’ll be working out of our offices on Duke Street, New Basford, Nottingham.

Scope:

• Create engaging, on trend design content for online platforms & marketing campaigns
• Produce images, videos, product literature, POS items, internal documents & signage
• Take the lead on planning, creating and implementing marketing campaigns & projects
• Help plan, organise and create products, merchandise and displays for exhibitions
• Link with and strengthen relationships with partners, social enterprises & suppliers
• Conduct pricing analysis to position competitive offers to our target audiences
• Utilise the latest AI tools and technology to create engaging content & open doors
• Analysing activity to maximise ROI and ensuring commercial objectives are met

Requirements:

You will need the ability to work in a rapidly changing, fast paced working environment. Work independently on tasks, as well as being part of a creative team. Strong written skills are a must for this role, as you’ll be writing social media posts and copywriting. Have an eye for detail, be able to multitask and prioritise tasks on your own accord. Previous product & brand awareness marketing experience is preferred but not essential. In-depth working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, Canva-Pro, Microsoft suite, campaign software, digital marketing tools and platforms.

Salary, Hours & Location

This full time position has a salary of £30k you’ll be working out of our offices on Duke Street, New Basford, Nottingham.Our starting holiday entitlement is 28 days, including Bank Holidays. Employment benefits include various social activities and increased holiday entitlement based on length of service. And we provide a generous company pension with 5% Employee + 5% Employer contributions.
