Customer Support Technician Vacancy

Internal Service Support

Location: New Basford, Nottingham, NG7 7JN – Office Based
Hours: Full Time, Permanent: 40 hours per week
Salary: CE £26,000 Dependent upon experience

Vacancy Details

Are you someone who has the ability to provide technical information in a non-technical way? If you do, and you are also comfortable talking with customers over the phone, this role is for you. Tennants UK is looking for an Internal Service Support individual who has excellent communication skills and can provide remote technical support to customers as part of the Customer Service team.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide customers with remote technical support for simple technical and printer issues, including installation, servicing and repairs.
  • Remote onto customers’ PC to diagnose faults and issues.
  • Prepare printers, laptops and other equipment for implementation on site, including patching.
  • Take and accurately process orders via phone or email taking a ‘right first time’ approach to the information that is provided and processed.
  • Issue licence activation codes, and field remote technical support queries.
  • Liaise closely with other departments to ensure customer requirements and deadlines are met.
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication skills, particularly over the telephone.
  • Strong organisational skills, including a desire for accuracy and an attention to detail.
  • The ability to self-manage yourself and your workload.
  • Previous experience in a helpdesk or customer service background.
  • A natural ability and interest in solving problems.
  • Strong IT literacy, particularly with the MS Office Suite.
  • The ability to absorb and retain a comprehensive knowledge of the range of products offered to customers.

You may also have experience in the following: Helpdesk Support, Customer Service, Technical Helpdesk, 1st-line Technical Support.

Production Team Leader

Location: New Basford Nottingham, NG7 7HX – Office Based
Hours: Full Time, Permanent: 40hrs per week via Shifts

Vacancy Details

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Production Team Leader to join our great production team. This role requires the management of people, products, and dispatch to successfully deliver and exceed our customer expectations. You’ll be working full-time, via shifts, out of our production facilities on Mount Street, New Basford, Nottingham.

2-Week Shift Pattern:

Week 1: 7.30am–4.00pm
Week 2: 9.00am–5.30pm

Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring our team are operating safely and driving a safety culture.
  • Quality is at the heart of everything we do – as a Shift leader you will set the standards.
  • Day to Day Management of a direct team of 5-8 team members.
  • Deliver and exceed dispatch KPI’s.
  • Responsible for completing logistics processing on schedule.
  • Management of the team regarding manufacturing and process.
  • Utilising in-house computer systems for all aspects of inventory control – SAGE 200.
  • Maintaining and updating inventory records – ability to work with others to problem solve.
  • Management of Stock rotation.
  • Removing barriers to team performance.
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
