Sales Coordinator

Tennants are a friendly and rapidly expanding manufacturing company based in Nottingham, requiring an enthusiastic individual to join our Highways Sales team.

Skills and personal qualities:

We are looking for a Sales Coordinator to support our Highways Equipment division. Duties include handling enquiries, creating quotations and liaising with production. Alongside completing order processing on internal accounts and CRM systems. This position requires excellent organisational, administrative, and problem-solving skills. Not to mention strong communication and customer service abilities.

The deadline for applications is Friday 18st June. And interviews will be held the week commencing 21st June 2021. Full training will be provided, as product knowledge of the Highways & Traffic Management industries will be essential.

Main Duties:

  • Handle incoming sales enquires via phone, email and online forms.
  • Produce quotations from set price lists and costing formulas.
  • Sales order processing including pro-forma payments.
  • Purchase order processing, including direct shipments.
  • Update Sage200 Accounting & CRM systems.
  • Liaise between production, suppliers and customers to meet deadlines.
  • Assist with stock control & regular stocktakes.
  • Undertake & report on various ad-hock projects.

Requirements:

  • Experience of Highways & Traffic Management industry preferred, but full training will be provided.
  • Self-motivated with good problem solving instincts and the ability to work unsupervised.
  • Strong attention to detail and capable of working to tight deadlines.

This position is offered on a full-time basis, Monday to Friday, working 40 hours between 8.30am and 5.00pm. Some flexibility will be necessary on occasion to meet deadlines & cover absences. This role offers a competitive salary based on experience, plus pension scheme at 5% + 5% contributions. And a standard holiday entitlement of 28 days including bank holidays.

Skills and personal qualities:

This is a responsible position requiring strong organisational skills and self-management, whilst working as part of an order processing and technical advisory team. The automotive industry is highly regulated and serviced within tight deadlines, so the successful candidate will be expected to have excellent attention to detail, work ethic and reliability. Although the role is office based, telephone communication with our customers is constant, so good people skills are a pre-requisite.

Main Duties:

  • Take orders via phone or email and process accurately on Sage.
  • Provide advice and solutions for simple technical and printer issues.
  • Liaise with logistics providers to maintain high level of supply.
  • Consistently observe Sage and CRM processes to maintain customer and service information.
  • Work effectively with other departments – accounts, production and despatch.
  • Undertake service and promotional call outs when scheduled.

Requirements:

  • Excellent telephone manner, communication and people skills.
  • High level of organisation, accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong work ethic, flexibility and taking pride in a job well done.
  • Self-managing but also able to work as part of a team.
  • Willing to learn new skills.
  • Customer Service / Sales Office background.
  • Sage 200 knowledge preferred but training will be given.

This position is offered on a full-time basis, Monday to Friday between 8.30am and 5.00pm. This role offers a salary circa £20k dependent on experience, plus pension scheme at 5% + 5% contributions. And a standard holiday entitlement of 28 days including bank holidays.

This is a responsible position requiring strong organisational skills and self-management, whilst working as part of a team. The sectors we serve are highly regulated and serviced within tight deadlines, so the successful candidate will be expected to have excellent attention to detail, work ethic and reliability. At times, you’ll need to be flexible, willing to work additional hours as necessary and adopt a range of skills for our wide scope of production activities.

Main Duties:

  • Basic warehouse activities – receipt and despatch of goods.
  • Slitting and conversion of master roll materials using automated cutting machinery and guillotines.
  • Stock control using PC based Sage system.
  • Support Production & Despatch during periods of high demand.

Requirements:

  • Forklift licence preferred, but training will be provided as necessary & a driving licence is required.
  • Basic computer literacy in order to book goods in and out on Sage.
  • Self-motivated with good problem solving instincts and the ability to work unsupervised.
  • Strong attention to detail and taking pride in a job well done.

This position is offered on a full-time contract, Monday to Friday, 40 hours between 8.30am and 5.30pm. Some flexibility will be necessary on occasion. Competitive salary based on experience. Full driving licence required for essential fork lift training.

  • Operate CNC router & cutting machines.
  • Machine set up and basic maintenance.
  • Laminate media to substrate via powered rollers.
  • Support Production & Despatch during periods of high demand.

Requirements:

  • CNC experience preferred, but training will be provided.
  • Self-motivated with good problem solving instincts and the ability to work unsupervised.
  • Strong attention to detail and taking pride in a job well done.

This position is offered on a shift-based contract on alternating weeks, including one Saturday shift every three weeks, with a competitive salary based on experience.

Main Duties:

  • Operate CNC and laser router and cutting machines.
  • Preparation of artwork files using CorelDraw design software.
  • Machine set up and basic maintenance.
  • Laminating media to substrate via powered rollers.
  • Support for production and despatch during periods of high demand.

Requirements:

  • Design software experience preferred, but training will be provided.
  • Self-motivated with good problem solving instincts and the ability to work unsupervised.
  • Strong attention to detail and taking pride in a job well done.

This position is offered on a shift-based contract on alternating weeks of 6am – 2.30pm and 9.30am – 6.00pm Monday to Friday, including one Saturday shift every four weeks, with a competitive salary based on experience.
