Customer Service Administrator

Location: New Basford, Nottingham, NG77JN
Hours: Full Time Mon-Fri 40hrs per week
Salary: £25-26k DOE
Reporting To: Customer Service Manager

Vacancy Details

Tennants UK is looking for a proactive Customer Service Administrator with strong organisational skills and excellent communication to work as part of the Traffic Management and Reflective division.

Responsibilities:
  • Communicate regularly and proactively with customers to keep them aware of progress on orders and to deal with any queries.
  • Take and accurately process orders via phone or email taking a ‘right first time’ approach to the information that is provided and processed.
  • Liaise with logistics providers and internal departments to ensure customer deadlines are met.
  • Take orders via phone or email and process accurately on Sage.
  • Consistently observe Sage and CRM processes to maintain customer and service information.
  • Work effectively with other departments – accounts, production and despatch.
  • Managing customer calls, emails and queries, from the first point of contact to the resolution.
  • Creating, sending and following up on quotes for customers.
  • Ensuring all data is uploaded accurately onto the online system.
  • Working alongside Account Managers to problem solve, escalating any queries as necessary.
  • Communicating with customers, providing product guidance and answering purchase inquiries.
  • Assist in all areas as and when required to ensure all areas are supported and cover is in place.
  • Raising orders on the systems for direct shipments and ensuring GRN’s are complete.
Requirements/Skills:
  • Excellent communication skills, particularly over the telephone.
  • Strong organisational skills, including a desire for accuracy and an attention to detail.
  • The ability to self-manage yourself and your workload.
  • Previous experience in a sales or customer service background.
  • A natural ability and interest in solving problems.
  • Strong IT literacy, particularly with the MS Office Suite.
  • The ability to absorb and retain a comprehensive knowledge of the range of products offered to customers.
Salary, Hours & Location

This is full time position with a salary of £25-26k you’ll be working out of our offices on Duke Street, New Basford, Nottingham. Starting holiday entitlement is 28 days, including Bank Holidays. Employment benefits include various social activities and increased holiday entitlement based on length of service. And we provide a generous company pension with 5% Employee + 5% Employer contributions.
