Plates by Size

Plates By Size is the second number plate production widget on the Dashboard. This widget uses a Bar Chart to show the total number plates your staff have printed, displayed as plate sizes. The values shown are totals calculated for the current duration set under Filter.

Plates by Size Widget

Tennants Central’s Plates By Size widget shows how many of each number plate size have been printed for the set location & duration. This widget uses a Bar Chart to display how plate production was divided among plate sizes. LG Plates software records plate size efficiently using the three main number plates sizes, trailer plates & custom for all the other sizes.

This widget is ideal for parts managers looking to see what sizes & how many have been printed.

The small hamburger menu appears to the right on all production widgets. On click a dropdown appears with options to download the graph as an image or CSV.

Bar Chart

On-site software data is used to populate the Printed Plates By Size bar chart. The chart shows segments for each plate size, with their height determined by the number of number plates were printed. Each segment can be interacted with to find precise totals.

By default our plates software records every time it prints a number plate.

Graph Key

The graph key uses sizes as options to highlight or isolate specific data. Hovering over a size, will cause the others bars to fade from view. While clicking a size instead, will darken and slightly enlarge that bar. Unclick selected keys & segments to reset the chart.

Note: The graph key on Plates by Size is currently broken, showing no useful options.

Chart Segments & Tooltips

Hovering over a bar on the chart will lighten it, a popup tooltip will appear & display that size’s total. While clicking a segment will darken and highlight it. Chart interactions can be combined with the graph key to locate specific user data. Unclick selected keys & segments to reset the chart.

Report

At the bottom of the widget is the Report Link. This shortcut links to the pre-configured Plates per Location webpage for the current branch. Information provided on the report has data including, the plate reg, date printed, plate size & the user responsible among other details.

Click the link to view the full report page, the duration may need setting under the Time Range filter.
