Stick with Us for BSAU145e Compliancy Matters

Tennants customers have been able to rely on us for guidance and advice via our Knowledge Base and Compliancy Pack. However, one point which still appears to be particularly contentious is the guidelines for fixing plates to vehicles. But happily, this is something we can clear up right now.

Simply; wherever possible, plates should be fitted using adhesive pads only and drilling should be avoided. Where this is simply not possible, it is acceptable to drill and mechanically fix. As long as all screws or bolts are positioned outside of the readable area of the registration.

See our online knowledge base Number Plate Fitting & Drilling Guides for help or more clarification.
