Customer Service Administrator

Location: New Basford, Nottingham
Hours: Full Time, Permanent: 37.5hrs per week
Salary: £23k  to £25k pa
Reporting To: Customer Services Manager

Vacancy Details

Tennants UK is looking for a proactive Customer Service Administrator with strong organisational skills and excellent communication to work as part of the order processing and technical advisory team. Working within an established team, the successful applicant will report to the Customer Services Manager.

Since 1967 Tennants have offered reflective products and services to a range of sectors, such as the automotive, highways & sign makers. A leader in number plate solutions, we also provide highway equipment & road signs and are the UK Master Distributor for Oralite Reflective films & printers.

Responsibilities:
  • Communicate regularly and proactively with customers to keep them aware of progress on orders and to deal with any queries
  • Take and accurately process orders via phone or email taking a ‘right first time’ approach to the information that is provided and processed
  • Liaise with logistics providers to ensure customer deadlines are met
  • Liaise closely with other departments to ensure customer requirements and deadlines are met
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication skills, particularly over the telephone
  • Strong organisational skills, including a desire for accuracy and an attention to detail
  • The ability to self-manage yourself and your workload
  • Previous experience in a sales or customer service background
  • A natural ability and interest in solving problems
  • Strong IT literacy, particularly with the MS Office Suite
  • The ability to absorb and retain a comprehensive knowledge of the range of products offered to customers.
Salary, Hours & Location

This position is offered on a full-time basis working 37.5 hours Monday to Friday. The salary for this role is £23-25k per year dependent on experience. Employment benefits include social activities, increased holidays based on length of service & generous pension contributions. You will be working out of our offices at Palm Street, New Basford, Nottingham, NG7 7HS.
