Available constructions comprise of our eco-friendly Enviro-Plate or industry standard Reflective Plates. Tennants number plates are certified to BSAU 145e by an official UKAS Approved Laboratory and use ORALITE Licence Plate Grade Reflective. Enviro-Plate
Enviro-Plate is our most eco-friendly and efficient number plate, thanks to a 90% Recycled ABS backing & printed clear film. Using recycled ABS cut its material footprint to just 0.5kg of CO2 per plate, compared to 0.73kg for a 100% recycled aluminium plate.

Reflective Plates
Acrylic & Reflective components are the industry standard method of making number plates. We utilise ORALITE reflective for its high-performance retroreflectivity and durability. Using PMMA Acrylic faces gives these plates a footprint of 1.99 kg of CO2 each.

Sustainability
Over successive years we have raised our components sustainability. We use recycled ABS from Scotland for its carbon savings & recyclability. Our recycling service stops waste plates going to landfill, with more non-recyclable waste being used for energy recovery.
ECO-FRIENDLY
Components
As the UK Master Distributor for ORALITE Reflective, we know it’s made in eco-friendly facilities. Although its non-recyclable, Orafol has invested in carbon neutral production & energy efficiency.
By using 90% Recycled ABS our number plate backing plates have a much lower carbon footprint than Acrylic or Aluminium. Printing onto Polyester Film is as efficient as reflective, with equal durability but greater cost savings.
Note: All carbon footprints are estimations based on materials. We’ve used European energy data with logistics excluded.
